Grains
Grains including wheat, corn (maize), barley, rice and sorghum are key ingredients in the diets of most of the world’s population, providing necessary nutrients through staples such as breads, rice, noodles and tortillas.
Animal Feeds
Animal feed is food grown or developed for domestic animals, especially livestock, Poultry, Fish & others in the course of animal husbandry under the Brand name Asante Agro-Feeds.
Oilseeds
Oilseeds, such as sunflower, soybeans & seasame (simsim) are crushed to create vegetable oil, used both in food and to produce green renewable fuels.
Pulses
Pulses that include red kidney beans, green gram, black eyed peas among others are mainly used in raw whole form, split or ground into flour in foods like dals, soups, plant-based pastas and snack products.
Animal Products
An animal product is any material derived from the body of an animal. Products from animals include meat and meat products, poultry products (meat and eggs), fish, dairy products (milk, yoghurt and cheese), and non-food products such as fiber (wool, mohair, cashmere, and leather).
Cotton
Despite competition from man-made fibre, cotton remains the preferred choice for most clothing, towelling and home furnishing uses due to its softness, breathability and durability.
